Relationship between Coach’s Leadership Style and Motivation of Male Athletes

Each coach has a distinctive leadership style, and each coach's style its advantages disadvantages. Trainers have several behaviors/actions in training. There are coach-style behaviors, i.e., training/instruction, authoritarian, democracy, social support, feedback. This study aims to determine whether there is relationship between the male athletes’ motivation. research method uses descriptive correlation design. The samples this were active student members of men's futsal activity unit Indonesian Education University. data collection technique used random sampling technique. instruments Leadership Scale for Sport (LSS) measure SMS (Social Motivation Scale) was analyzed using parametric statistical analysis with Pearson test. results Moreover, authority attains sig value (ρ) 0.006 <0.05.
